As associated member of the CROCOOS Project E2C was invited to final project conference at Budapest 19. - 21.04.2017
CROCOOS Project focus on preventing early school leaving. The three-days high-level conference focuses both on reflections and policy recommendation of the project and also the piloting phase with full of schools’ stories and best practices.
What was the role of E2C ... in this project? Students in E2C schools are experts when it comes to finding the reasons for early school leaving. Their experiences were collected in interviews and processed in the project.
In the final conference, Mari Bognar, former E2C Board member, and member of the expert group and Reinhold Schiffers, board member of E2C, represented E2C at the conference. In his speech, Reinhold Schiffers introduced the network. He highlights on the beliefs of the members of E2C to give an impression what works:
- Give disadvantaged youngsters a chance to grow
- Strengthen their self-esteem and their self-awareness
- We need them all
- Networking with partners in community and business
- Work with the best teachers and give them support
