As you know, in the EPODS Project some members of E2C are involved and E2C is an indirect partner in this project too as a partner who should bring over the results and instruments to our network. See in our news: www.e2c-europe.org/news/881-epos-new-project.html the description of the project.
Why are we conducting and support this research?
E2C as network is a part of Second Chance Education in Europe. We think the results and the instruments out of this project can be also instruments for developing the personal education of our teacher. Therefore the network is an associate partner in this project and partake in the results. The website www.secondchanceeducation.eu gives you a view of the tools out of the DISCO Project. Now we make the next step in EPODS. What is the background of this the survey?
Evidence shows that education quality improves when teachers/trainers are supported and they deteriorates if not. While ICT has been used in various ways to support teachers, some of the literature points to the fact that little evidence exists supporting the claim that digital technology has transformed education of teacher. Only by capturing better data on the integration, usage and impact of ICT in education further improvements can be reached in this area.
Therefore, in order to develop a service and e-platform that really meets the needs of today’s Second Chance Education practitioners, we need to understand how you operate day-to-day. We have written this questionnaire specifically to gauge current and desired interest in and knowledge of certain aspects of SCE. The questions will help our project team to analyse and interpret the status quo as well as the desired conditions, and subsequently develop the tools and services that are genuinely added-value.
Your feedback counts. The data collected will provide useful information regarding the training needs and tools that will assist SCE teachers, trainers and educators’ continuous professional development. We have taken all reasonable measures to protect your individual responses.
To complete the survey below, click here for the survey, save or download the survey on your computer and write your answer in the text box directly below the question. The collected results will be analyzed and the data may be published in an academic journal and/or presented at a professional conference. Survey data are SSL encrypted and will be stored in a password protected database, and IP addresses are not collected.
